Job Description
LCG is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to be an integral part of a highly dynamic Shared Services Team supporting corporate growth and capabilities development and service delivery. The SA will be a part of LCG’s Office of the CTO, and will champion organizational goals as the trusted advisor to LCG proactively and holistically, leading and supporting SA activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions. Solution domains include Digital Government, Managed Infrastructure and Operations, and Applications Services. The SA provides the necessary leadership, analysis, and design tasks to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
Experience & Background
Hands-on experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop responses to statement of work/statement of objectives and achieve a common operational understanding and solution.
Hands-on experience crafting solutions into high-quality, well-written technical and management responses supporting all phases of proposal development lifecycles
Prior experience supporting Federal IT Environments, leading or engineering in contracts related to Project and Product Management, IT Strategic Planning/CIO Support, Infrastructure and Operations, Service Desk, Modernization & Transformation, and Software Enterprise Systems
Knowledge of Digital Government supporting Cloud Strategies, Cloud Migration Efforts (Azure/AWS), DevOps/SecOps and playing an influential role supporting Digital Transformation.
Familiarity with Government Business Systems, COTS, GOTS, and Government Technology Platforms (ServiceNow, Office 365,)
In-depth understanding of IT Service Management, Monitoring Solutions, Data/Solution Solutions, Cybersecurity Operations & Compliance, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery, Identity, and Access Management.
Substantial Experience in Technical Writing, Communication, and Presentation for multitudes of audiences.
Responsibilities
Routinely integrate with Service Delivery Teams, learn and understand LCG's Customers and Project Portfolios, and stay up-to-date on implemented technologies, tools, processes, solutions, notable achievements, and delivered business value.
Participate in reviewing solicitations released by the government to ensure alignment to LCG's capabilities and support go/no-go decisions.
Review government scope and requirements and convert them into innovative, efficient, and competitive solutions aligned to the buying agency's strategies and mission objectives.
Spearhead Technical Solutions with LCG SMEs describing and designing and engineering solutions to specific business problems.
Support Business Development Teams on capture efforts, developing pre-solicitation artifacts (Case Studies, White Papers, Justifications) for the marketing of discriminating value propositions.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in related field
At least 10 years of experience in Government Contracting, RFP solution development and technical writing
AWS, Azure, CISSP, Agile, PMP, ITIL 4, SCRUM or other Federal IT relevant certifications Preferred
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint for collaboration.
Ability to write, review, direct, and develop proposal sections, write, articulate and influence technical solutions, regardless of the discipline.
