Job Description
LCG is currently seeking a .NET developer who exercises independent judgment and creativity on a regular basis in solving highly complex major technical problems, and in providing guidance and recommendations. May provide technical direction to one or more professional and/or technical persons on an assigned project. Normally works closely with clients and project manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop applications. Translate design to code and perform unit test on the developed code and applications.
Work directly and efficiently with other developers, architects, and project leaders.
Understand and clarify requirements with project manager, architects, and SMEs.
Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document portions of the overall solution.
Ensure client’s software development process is followed on the project, based on industry best practices for software development.
Review code and provide feedback to developers on current and peer teams.
Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and software patterns.
Develop web applications on .NET platform. Coding in advanced Object Oriented languages.
Provide configuration management in the development environment.
Evaluation, testing, configuration management and other software tools that support the software development process.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge in the development of client/server and internet applications that utilize a n-tier architecture and graphical user interface.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of web technologies and web architectures.
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, attack vectors, application vulnerabilities and their solutions.
Strong knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript libraries.
Database skills to design new or alter existing table structures to satisfy specifications and requirements.
Must be able to follow and contribute to project and task plans and participate in agile process.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of .Net Framework Including, but not limited to, MVC.
Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.
Experience in developing scalable web applications.
Experience working with relational databases, including SQL Server, My SQL, Oracle DB.
Experience using source code version control software.
Familiar with Agile development methodology and concepts.
Desired Skills:
Experience using source code version control software. SVN is preferred.
Mobile platform development experience is a plus.
Experience working with Appian.
Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Microsoft DevOps a plus.
Strong testing skills.
Experience integrating applications with SharePoint or Office 365 a plus.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/MIS and 4 years of experience in C#, .NET technology.
