Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions within infrastructure environment, focusing on leveraging Azure Open AI to solve complex problems and improve service delivery.
• Work closely with the IT team to identify opportunities for AI integration that aligns with business goals and infrastructure needs.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Azure AI services, including Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Bot Services, to architect and implement AI solutions.
• Collaborate with SharePoint engineers to enhance and automate SharePoint solutions using AI capabilities.
• Partner with the cloud architect to ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and efficiently integrated into the cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and support to service desk and desktop technicians in deploying AI-powered tools and applications for improved user support and satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, tools, and technologies, especially within the Azure ecosystem, to ensure our AI initiatives are innovative and competitive.
• Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions on AI technologies and best practices for the IT team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing AI solutions, preferably in an Azure environment.
• Strong expertise in Azure AI services, including but not limited to Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Bot Services.
• Experience with general AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data science principles.
• Proficient in programming languages relevant to AI and machine learning, such as Python, R, or Scala.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and cloud architectures, preferably Azure, including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Certifications in Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist, or Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits 

The projected compensation range for this position is $122,400.00 to $165,600 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
