Laser Operator
LC Staffing is now recruiting for a laser operator for a leading manufacturing company in Missoula. In the laser operator position you will be required to perform advanced production activities requiring a demonstrated high level of skill.
Work Location : In Person (Missoula, MT)
Pay : From $20.00 per hour
Schedule : Monday through Friday 7am to 3 : 30pm

Job Duties :
- Chooses correct material for the job according to work order
- Sets up machine, selects proper burning tip, sets gas flow and machine feed rates
- Uses gauges, calipers, squares, or rulers for measurement
- Determines processing specifications such as materials, burning tips, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences
- Reviews CAD drawings, work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in operating a burning machine or as machine operator / programmer.
- Past machine operator experience
- Forklift certified
- Must posses basic measuring skills
- Microsoft Windows programs experience, specifically Excel.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds (50 pounds max).
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to engage in frequent bending, and lifting and standing and walking.
- Work environment does have chemicals in use on premises and environment can be dusty.
- The noise level in the work environment is constant and loud at times. PPE may be required for hearing protection.
