LBS Financial Credit Union is Hiring a Consumer Loan Servicing Representative (GAP) Near Westminster, CA

Do you have experience overseeing GAP processing as part of a loan servicing team? Do you demonstrate excellent communication and strong organizational skills that will contribute to the success of the Loan Administration department?

We would like to welcome a Consumer Loan Servicing Representative (GAP) who is the primary team member responsible for GAP processing. This role may also assist with credit reporting functions, DMV functions, and servicing functions as needed. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

GAP Functions

  • Assists by interacting with GAP administrators via email and phone calls to monitor GAP refunds. 
  • Researches loan files for GAP data entry. 
  • Keeps GAP administrator contact information current whenever changes occur. 
  • May be required to travel to other branch locations to assist with Loan Servicing related training for other employees, including but not limited to GAP, DMV, credit reporting, etc. 
  • Performs other duties as management or supervision may require

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES 

  • Minimum high school graduate or equivalent. 
  • Minimum one-year experience in a business/office environment. Prior experience with a financial institution desirable. 
  • Prior data entry experience is preferred. 
  • Prior DMV form management experience is preferred. 
  • Experience with “FDI” or similar electronic titling program is preferred. 
  • Must have working knowledge of the various rules and regulations concerning the tools and techniques to insure the Credit Union’s lien interest is timely and properly perfected. This understanding must include the rules and regulations as publicized by the State of California DMV and other State and Federal regulators.

PAY RANGE

In accordance with California’s Pay Transparency Act (SB 1162), the expected salary range for this position is between: 

$20.00 - $23.73

Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.

Note: As part of our screening process, LBS Financial conducts background investigations on candidates who are extended an offer and who agree and authorize us to do so. This investigation will include a credit report, criminal records search, Social Security search, governmental registries search, and employment and educational verifications. Additionally, candidates must be eligible to be bonded through a fidelity bond to cover employee loss and risk.
