LBrands is Hiring an Asset Protection Director - Emergency Operations Near Columbus, OH

Description

The Director of Emergency Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and has the shared responsibility of protecting people, brand and property. They will monitor the global threat landscape across 1800 stores, 4 campuses, 6 corporate offices, and multiple distribution centers. The EOC Director reports to the VP of Asset Protection. Leads a team of 15 associates including EOC Manager/Supervisors and Specialists. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key stakeholder and subject matter expert of Crisis Management, and serves as Asset Protection liaison between Home Office, Stores and Functional leaders

- Develop emergency preparedness materials and communication processes for key partners across the stores, home office, and distribution centers

- Manages the team responsible for emergency call intake, reporting, system and security monitoring, intelligence analytics, travel monitoring and supporting investigations across field, supply chain and home office 

- Create, enhance, and implement appropriate policies, procedures, and protocols for the team

- Gather and analyze information from various sources to assess risk to the global business 

- Coach and develop the team to build capabilities and reduce variability of performance

- Identify, create, and/or enhance development focus for the EOC 

- Manage the development and compliance of team business plans and budget

- Lead performance management process, as needed

- Identify, hire and retain top talent

- Lead and support special projects and tasks as directed by leaders based on needs of the business

Qualifications

- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Asset Protection/Emergency Management/ Security related field

- Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams

- Good working knowledge of stores and building security, fire and safety systems

- Ability to build rapport and foster relationships; works well within a matrixed environment and team-oriented and inclusive culture

- Ability to resolve conflict and manage associate issues effectively

- Strong decision-making capability

- Proficient knowledge of crisis management policies, procedures, and protocols

- Ability to work a flexible schedule; may be required to work some weekends and holidays

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 

- CPR and first aid training a plus

- ASIS Certifications a plus
