OPPORTUNITY 

This Solution Architect role is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about technology and innovation and is looking to join a highly collaborative team and work on a diverse enterprise-wide projects. LBMC's Enterprise Technology group is a rapidly-growing initiative group, focusing on delivering high-end modern platforms and insightful solutions for the organization across a variety of industries and sizes. 

New hires will work with internal departments to design and build scalable, reliable solutions. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, developers, and consultants and apply creativity and critical thinking skills to accomplish in-depth projects. We expect knowledge and experience with wide variety of tools and the ability to utilize essential cloud and on-premise technologies and working with third party systems. Fully remote work may be available to qualified candidates, but preference will be given to candidates with the ability to work on-site. 

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how to synthesize complex requirements into scalable and presentable solutions

  • Documents and publishes appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns, and frameworks 

  • Defines, constructs, supports, and provides training for enterprise frameworks 

  • Reviews functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements 

  • Documents and communicates opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption 

  • Lead the design and build of innovative solutions in on-premise and cloud technologies using the complete suite of cloud services available 

  • Provide mentoring and training for custom solutions built or technologies being deployed 

  • Effectively communicate with internal team members to ensure projects are completed effectively and on-time. Mentor and train other team members to ensure quality for solutions the team delivers 

  • Provide thought leadership and LBMC brand awareness to the marketplace through participation in forums, user groups, and speaking in data platform and analytics-related conferences as comfortable Establish effective work relationships with clients, team members, vendors, recruiting candidates, and referral partners 

  • Adheres to LBMC’s defined processes and procedures including the firm's policy on privacy and client confidentiality 

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field 

  • 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications or infrastructures 

  • 4 years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) 

  • 5 years of design / implementation / consulting experience with distributed applications 

  • 7 years experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking 

  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies 

  • 5 years’ experience writing SQL (knowledge of T-SQL highly preferred) 

  • Exposure to cloud services (Azure preferred) and programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and/or R 

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment to meet client project demands and timelines

  • Continued willingness to learn new technologies, techniques, and presentation methods and act as a tenacious problem solver
