The Spirit of the Position:

The Chief Marketing Officer reports to the CEO and is responsible for building and executing a strategic marketing vision that will ensure the long-term growth of our company and create opportunities for our people. S/he will help build and lead a team of Marketing professionals to drive brand awareness, support our transition to an eCommerce platform, build customer engagement and loyalty while helping us enhance revenue growth and attract and retain our clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives to remain a fast growth industry leader.
  • Oversee all aspects of marketing, including brand management, advertising, digital marketing, public relations, social media, content marketing, and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define the company's brand positioning, value proposition, and messaging, ensuring consistency across all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop annual marketing plans and a strategy that include digital marketing, public relations, displays and sponsorships, content marketing, a total remake of our web and mobile presence and social media marketing.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management to drive exceptional results while assimilating into our distinct and strong culture around growing and supporting our amazing people.
  • Conduct market research benchmarking us against our competitors in a fast-moving world and driving analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, and leverage insights to adjust to a fast-changing industry.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Drive lead generation and customer acquisition efforts through targeted marketing campaigns, digital and eCommerce channels, and partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media partners and vendors to optimize marketing initiatives and enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and establish reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and propose improvements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, and apply relevant strategies to drive innovation and competitiveness.

  • Proven expertise in eCommerce solutions with experience transitioning from a traditional business model to a digital user experience.
  • Extensive experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive results consistent with our unique and people first culture.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, brand management, digital marketing strategies, and emerging marketing trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging market research and data analytics to drive marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think strategically build credibility and inspire innovative thinking among our teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business management or a related field.
  • Master's degree marketing preferred.
