Established in 1994, Layne's is THE "born and breaded in Texas" chicken finger restaurant. The Layne's culture stems from our roots in College Station, where back in 1994, we perfected our chicken finger frying technique. True to our roots, we are a fun, fast paced dynamic team who do not take ourselves seriously, but we take our food and our service EXTREMELY seriously.
We are looking for GREAT people who are; hard working individuals to join us on what will be an incredibly fun, fast and rewarding experience
THE ROLE:
As a Line Cook, your main responsibility will be to prepare our fresh daily hand cut chicken, breading it in our uniquely seasoned breading and frying it to perfection in our state of the art fryers. Other duties will include manning our griddle plate where we toast our authentic Texas toasting bread and also grill our cheese and bacon for our famous club sandwiches. You will also be responsible for cleaning and keeping our kitchens immaculate. A huge part of who we are and what we are about is our fun loving, so as a Layne's Line Cook you will be part of our culture which ensures everyone has fun while we serve our guests our "soon to be famous"TM chicken fingers.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preferably have experience in a fast food concept.
  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 55 lbs.

Compensation: $0.10 per hour
