MDVIP affiliated practice is seeking a professional, organized Front Desk Associate who is interested in working at Personalized Primary Care office.

Applicant must be able to perform the following tasks

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Register patients by verifying demographic information and insurance coverage
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
• Collect co-pays and process payments
• Preparing patients for examinations
• Preparing exam rooms
• Scheduling patients for diagnostic and laboratory services
• Completing administrative tasks including prior authorizations, pre-certifications and referrals
• Transmitting prescription refills as directed
• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
• Assist with medical administrative tasks such as faxing and scanning documents

Applicant must possess the following qualities

• Professional and mature
• Well-organized
• Friendly, works well in a collegial environment
• Experience in outpatient physician office
• Interesting in learning new skills
