Job Overview:
We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. Willing to train the right candidate. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the orthodontist in providing exceptional patient care and beautiful smiles. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with orthodontic procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
Duties:
- Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures, including taking dental impressions, placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and adjusting braces
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring all instruments and supplies are sterilized and ready for use
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide instructions for care of orthodontic appliances
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or Dental Assistant is preferred, willing to train the right candidate
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We offer competitive pay based on experience. This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Thursday.

Pay: $20.28 - $25.00 per hour
