Lawrence Health Services is Hiring a Recruiter Near Walnut, AR

Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for the employment process of the HR Department. This includes, sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring qualified candidates for open positions, in accordance to our policies, and applicable state/federal laws.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and priorities.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Establish relationships with external community partners such as Arkansas Workforce Center, Black River Technical College and other related entities to promote Lawrence Healthcare’s positions.
  • Maintain and post all job openings for Lawrence Healthcare internally and externally on various job boards and social media platforms.
  • Participate in job fairs, network, and other opportunities to advertise and/or recruit for open positions as appropriate.
  • Ensure all open position statuses are updated timely.
  • Provide timely updates to hiring managers regarding the status of their open position.
  • Participate in interviews as needed to help improve the selection and hiring process.
  • Maintain communication with Manager regarding any challenges or concerns regarding the employment process.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times, in all matters.
  • May assist with other special projects in the HR dept, annual open enrollment for benefits, employee events, or new hire orientation.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS in Business, Human Resources or other related degree is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience is desired.
  • Experience in ATS.
  • Technology savvy, flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented.
  • Familiar with state and federal employment laws such as Title VII, FLSA, ADA, & DOL.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
