Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and manage the attorney's calendar
- Maintain and organize client files, both physical and electronic
- Assist with event planning and coordination for client meetings or firm events
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Provide general administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer support or receptionist role is preferred
- Familiarity with legal terminology and Workers' Compensation procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using computerized systems (Particularly, MerusCase) for data entry and document management
- Strong typing skills to accurately transcribe legal documents
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
Please note that this position does not require specific legal receptionist experience.
Our Law Office is currently in search of an upbeat and professional receptionist. This is a full-time position.
Priority will be given to applicants who speak both English and Spanish and who have a High School Diploma or equivalent. We value the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
