Law Office of Bryan Press is Hiring an Environmental Scientist Near Paterson, NJ

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team. As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and providing technical expertise in the field of environmental science. This is a full-time position based in Northern New Jersey.

Duties:
- Conduct fieldwork and collect samples to assess environmental conditions
- Use GPS and ArcGIS software to map and analyze data
- Perform laboratory analysis on collected samples
- Conduct research and literature reviews to stay up-to-date with current environmental regulations and practices
- Prepare technical reports and documents summarizing findings
- Assist in the development of environmental impact assessments
- Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, and stakeholders on environmental projects
- Provide recommendations for environmental management and conservation efforts

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and practices
- Proficiency in data analysis skills, including the use of Groundwater Modeling Software
- Experience with GPS technology for data collection
- Familiarity with ArcGIS software for mapping and analysis
- Laboratory experience for sample analysis
- Excellent technical writing skills for report preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to conduct fieldwork in various environments, including outdoor settings such as gardens or natural areas
