LAVENDER, INC. is looking to hire a full-time Superintendent for Pennington, AL.

We are General and Mechanical Contractors with nearly 40 years of experience. While we primarily serve the Southeast United States, we have done work on a national and global scale. This position, however, is for someone to work full time at Pennington, AL.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of construction experience as a Field Leadsman, Foreman or Supervisor with Construction Projects
• In Depth Knowledge of Welding and Construction
• Ability to Lead Crew of 50-100 Employees
• Ability to Perform Strenuous Work
• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Ability to Use Power Tools & Measuring Devices
• Flexibility to Work Overtime as Needed

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safety is our top priority! You must ensure work is complete safely according to safety standards by Lavender, Inc. and the customer.
• Perform work under all OSHA Standards
• Quality is crucial as well! You will be responsible for guiding crews to produce quality work the first time and meet production goals at an efficient cost.
• Inspect work progress and equipment used on site
• Read Construction Drawings and Blueprints
• Assist Foreman in carrying out tasks
• Organize materials, equipment, and crews to meet deadlines
• Advise Project Manager of the work status and recommend adjustments
