Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center is a bed Acute Psychiatric Hospital and Residential Treatment Center for children and adolescents ages four through eighteen.

The facility currently has an opening for a Lifeguard (Part-Time).

The Lifeguard will :

• Supervise swimming activities at the facility pool and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
• Warn swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.
• Administer first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and / or artificial respiration, if necessary.
• Evaluate conditions for safety and inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
• Be trained as a Mental Health Technician

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification required
• High School Diploma / GED preferred
• Experience in psychiatric setting preferred
• Patient care experience preferred
