Funeral Director

Laurel Hill Funeral Home has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Funeral Director. The funeral home is located on the grounds of Laurel Hill West, a 187-acre cemetery located in Bala Cynwyd. The cemetery is a very active burial site as well as an accredited arboretum, a unique recreational space and provides exceptional educational and community resources.

Reporting to the Funeral Services Manager, the Funeral Director is responsible for selling and serving and existing families in all aspects of our funeral home services and products.

Essential Functions:

• Serving families during services
• Removals and embalming
• Conducting funeral arrangements
• Administrative duties

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate should be compassionate with strong organizational skills and a highly motivated professional desire to assist families.
• Weekend and evening on-call hours required.
• Presents all products and services available to produce and create a memorable cemetery service.
