We are looking for someone that is interested in working with wood and building different wooden crates. No experience necessary. We will train the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and follow safe procedures at all times
• Basic carpentry skills (or ability to learn) required.
• Operation of nail guns, saws, drills, shrink wrap equipment as needed.
• Understand measurement and dimension.
• Construct crates, pallets, and tri wall boxes per specifications.
• Utilize product moving equipment such as fork truck, hand trucks or pallet jacks, to move product to appropriate areas.
• Can determine appropriate materials needed for pack and crate per order requirement (i.e. work order, etc.)
• Understands the importance of the highest quality of work needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Can safely operate the required equipment to fulfill duties.
• able to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Keep work area safe and clean.
• Understands the importance of identification, and control of all nonconformities discovered during the packaging process.
• Report nonconformities discovered to the Quality Coordinator.
• Understand (or be able to learn) measurement and dimension, including a tape measure.
• Must be able to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes or other related product throughout the facility, which entails heavy lifting and perform all functions as set forth above.

Drug test required- No THC

$17.50/HR - potential of up to 60 hours OT

Monday-Friday 6am/7am- 2:30pm/4:30pm

Must be available some nights, weekends and holidays as needed
