Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment, checking fluid levels, and replacing worn parts

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility issues

- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities

- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations

- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 6 Months Proven experience in maintenance or related field

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment

- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals

- Basic computer skills, including experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Skills:

- Customer service: Ability to interact with staff and address their maintenance needs in a professional manner.

- English: Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English to comprehend technical manuals and communicate effectively.

- Supervising: Experience overseeing maintenance projects and coordinating with external contractors.

- Logic controllers: Familiarity with logic controllers used in industrial equipment.

- Leadership: Ability to lead a team of maintenance technicians effectively.

- Welding: Proficient in welding techniques for repairs or fabrication.

- Mechanical knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.

- Fabrication: Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements.
