Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in avionics systems.. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the aviation industry and contribute to the maintenance and militarization of aircraft.

Responsibilities:

-Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all avionics systems that perform
Functions of communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition,
and automatic aircraft flight control systems.
-Service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and adjust AC and DC power generation,
conversion and distribution systems and aircraft batteries.

-Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems on aircraft
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Utilize CAD software for design and modification of avionics components
- Soldering and wiring of avionics equipment
- Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) operation for precision measurements
- Work with CATIA software for aircraft design tasks
- Conduct inspections using calipers and other measuring tools

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Avionics Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in avionics systems maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with soldering techniques for electronic components
- Knowledge of CATIA software for aircraft design is a plus
- Competency in using calipers and other precision measuring tools

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
