Hours: 8am-5pm, with a 30 minute lunch

Description

Seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Housekeeper for a private residence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential cleaning and laundry upkeep, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, organization, as well as proactive communication and work ethic. Our household consists of six individuals, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our large residence is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough, daily cleaning throughout the entire residence, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Ensure all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas, are consistently clean and well-maintained.
• Manage all laundry responsibilities, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens for six individuals.
• Maintain organization and tidiness in closets, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Proactively identify areas that require attention and address them promptly.
• Communicate effectively with the household members to understand their preferences and specific cleaning needs.
• Clean litter boxes and feed animals on an as needed basis.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with professional housekeeping and laundry upkeep
• Proficiency with spoken and written English is required
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a household with pets
• Proficiency with laundry skills, as well, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Efficiency without compromising quality
• Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
