Launch Pad Learning, a dynamic and growing preschool education company, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and share their energy and creativity in a diverse learning environment. Classroom assignments include toddlers - 18 mo - to 5 year olds.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and inspire children through play-based activities and curriculum, allowing for creative and flexible teaching methods
- Develop and implement exciting arts and crafts projects that introduce early learning skills, such as shapes, colors, and more
- Enhance learning through the use of music, dance, and storytelling
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and fun classroom environment for children
- Regularly communicate with parents through written and photo updates, using iPad technology, to keep them informed of their child’s progress
- Conduct DRDP and ECRS evaluations, ensuring that all children receive individualized attention and support
- Document food program to ensure the health and well-being of children
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units
- Ability to pass FBI, DOJ, and Child Abuse Index clearance
- Commitment to the safety and well-being of children, including COVID-19 considerations, with all new hires required to have at least one COVID-19 vaccination shot prior to employment
- Ability to record/log temperature at the beginning of each work day and be sent home immediately if feeling sick, per state licensing requirements
Bonus qualifications:
- Current CD Permit, Associate Teacher or higher
- Bilingual, any language English
- CPR/First Aid certification
