Job Title: Warehouse Technician (Entry Level)

Location: Chesapeake, VA (On-site)

Duration: 6-month contract

Salary: Up to $15.50 per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Entry Level Warehouse Technicians in Chesapeake, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for uninstalling equipment from racks, removing cabling/wiring from uninstalled equipment, and handling various tasks related to equipment storage, inventory management, and inspection.

Responsibilities:

• Uninstall equipment from racks according to provided instructions and safety guidelines.
• Safely remove cabling and wiring from uninstalled equipment, ensuring proper handling and disposal.
• Store, crate, palletize, and inventory all equipment removed from racks.
• Inspect equipment for damage or defects, reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Follow company procedures and policies regarding equipment handling, storage, and inventory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions closely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must have own steel-toed boots, cut-resistant gloves, and protective eyewear.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
