Position: Technology Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Specialist to join our team. The Ideal candidate will be someone who has previous Building Engineering and or Resort Technology experience working with room keys and touch screens and things like that for a resort or a theme park. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with third-party IT support team to maintain service levels of guest-facing technologies.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and software for various resort technologies.
  • Conduct system upgrades and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with vendors and the IT Manager to implement and configure operational technologies, including hardware and software systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Must be able to install low voltage cabling
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.

  • Availability to work beyond normal business hours during critical project phases and deadline

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of relevant hospitality operational technology experience
  • Experience troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
  • Experience installing, repairing, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to new technology, systems, and programs.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing IoT devices.
  • Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must be hunger to learn
  • Must also have an HS diploma or equivalent
