Latitude is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Laurel, MD

Main Points

  • 20$-30$ hr. depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY

This position has the direct responsibility to ensure that the product manufactured, packaged and shipped to our customers conforms to all the established Quality Assurance and Quality Control Requirements.

Brief Description of Duties:

  • Analyzes and interprets blueprints, sample data, and other materials to determine, change, measure specifications , inspections and testing procedures.
  • Maintains test equipment and instruments and certifies that precision instruments meets standards.
  • Collects samples for testing, and computes findings.
  • Rejects products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
  • Inspects materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to specifications, and adjusts process or assembly of equipment to meet standards.
  • Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Observes and monitors production operations and equipment to ensure proper assembly of parts.
  • Tests and measures finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, or assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by management.

Educational:

High School or Trade School graduate preferred

Experience:

  • • 5 years’ experience in Quality
  • • Experience in ISO-9001:2015
  • • Experience in IPC610 & IPC620 helpful
  • • Experience in GD&T helpful • Machine Shop experience helpful
