As an Entry-Level Loan Processor, you will be an integral part of our lending team, responsible for supporting the loan processing functions and ensuring a smooth and efficient loan approval process. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and possess excellent organizational skills. All individuals in this program after 1-2 years can progress to a Loan Officer track (high commission based) or a management role track (higher base salary).

Working with an Excellent Client that is looking to hire a Loan Processor in Beltsville, MD! This position is a direct hire role with great opportunity for growth. Starting salary is $55-$60k.

Responsibilities:

• Loan Application Review:
• Assist in reviewing loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
• Work closely with loan officers and applicants to gather any missing or additional documentation.
• Documentation Verification:
• Verify and validate applicant information, income, employment, and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and loan program guidelines.
• Communication and Coordination:
• Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information and updates.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients to provide status updates and request additional documentation as needed.
• Data Entry and System Updates:
• Accurately enter loan information into the system and update records throughout the loan processing lifecycle.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all documentation and systems.
• File Maintenance:
• Organize and maintain loan files in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparing loan files for submission to underwriting and closing departments.
• Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from clients, loan officers, and other team members.
• Assist clients in navigating the loan application process and answering basic questions related to their loan status.
