Litigation Attorney (Remote)
Our client, a growing law firm in Middle Tennessee, is looking to add a Litigation Attorney on an engagement basis (contract) to their team with insurance defense or personal injury experience. The firm is seeking an experienced attorney with strong litigation experience who has a sharp eye for problem-solving, is highly motivated and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in all phases of litigation, including motion drafting, depositions, hearings, trial or trial preparation, as well as discovery and be able to hit the ground running.
Requirements for Litigation Attorney (Remote):
  • 3 years of litigation experience (ideally in insurance defense and/or personal injury)
  • Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A commitment to ethical conduct and integrity
  • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee
  • Outstanding professional references
Position Details of the Litigation Associate
  • Type of role: Engagement
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Location: Remote
Compensation:
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $76,000 to $100,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, and market supply/demand.
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
