New Job Opportunity - Business Intelligence Developer (Hybrid)

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Alexandria, VA. Looking to hire an experienced BI Developer with a minimum of five years of related work experience. Must have Power BI experience, SQL experience, and experience working with Oracle databases. GovCon/Federal experience is required. 

Logistics of the Role:

  • Full Time - Direct Hire
  • Hybrid Remote 

Day to Day Activities:

  • Transform raw data into business information that will help inform decision making.
  • Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and extracts, created from potentially multiple data sources.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and organizations in the design and development of reporting solutions and routine analytic studies to support business needs.
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions
  • Work with high end business to design and develop Tableau dashboards with complex functionality 
  • Develop reports and dashboards Using PowerBI, Tableau, and OBIEE

Qualifications: 

  • Five years minimum of professional work experience 
  • Expert in SQL, reporting, and data visualization
  • Experience with government IT Systems - GovCon Experience 
  • Experience interacting with all levels of management, including senior leadership
  • Exceptional analytical and critical reasoning thinking skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, data analytics, statistics, informatics, or similar field
