The ideal security technicians must be familiar with installation and servicing of access control, CCTV (IP) and Intrusion systems. Must have basic computer/networking skills and be able to work with IT administrators for system communication, remote access, etc.
Main Points
- Must have commercial Access Control experience
- Company Car and Gas card included
- 5 years of Technician experience required
- All work within 45 minutes of downtown Nashville, TN
- Pay: 30/hr.-35/hr.
Position will involve installing, documenting, and servicing access control systems and analog & IP video security systems in the Nashville, TN areaInstallation of low voltage wiring in conduit systems and open-wired ceiling plenumsInstallation of door control devices, such as electric strikes, magnetic locks, and PIR devicesInstallation of door control processors, power supplies, & cabinetsInstallation of analog & IP camerasInstallation of Digital Video Recorders & Network Video RecordersInstallation of wire terminations per BICSI standards for both quality & aestheticsInstallation & configuration of software applications for processors, PC servers & clientsInstallation & configuration of Layer 2 Data Network switches for IP-driven systemsInstallation of other low voltage systems, such as intercom, intrusion, & audio / videoSystems service calls, including diagnosing, repairing, and / or replacing of components
Requirements
- 6-10 years of Technician experience
- Commercial access control experience required
- Must be familiar with installation and servicing of access control, CCTV (IP) and Intrusion systems
