This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring lower school educator who has a passion for exploring teaching and supporting students in an outstanding academic environment. We are seeking Substitute Teachers that will provide in-person instruction to students in our Lower School, Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade. As a Substitute Teacher at Latin, you should bring capability to teach and supervise multiple grade levels and establish effective working relationships with students of all ages, as well as faculty, staff, administration, and parents. School hours are 7:45 am-3:45 pm.
Implement lesson plans left by lead classroom teacher
Apply appropriate instructional methods for meeting lesson objectives
Utilize and manage classroom technology
Other duties as assigned
Compensation: $140 per day Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Prior division specific teaching experience
Classroom management skills
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Reliable, responsible and extremely flexible
