About the Role

The SharePoint Architect is an integral part of Latham’s Technology team. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the architectural design, development, and deployment of SharePoint solutions and platform, while leading the design and development of SharePoint solutions, ensuring they adhere to best practices and organizational standards. This role will be located in our Global Services Office, situated in downtown LA. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements and deliver robust SharePoint solutions that meet business needs
• Architecting and designing SharePoint infrastructure, including integration with other systems and services
• Ensuring SharePoint solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to SharePoint developers and administrators
• Monitoring and managing SharePoint server performance, tuning and optimizing as necessary

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Possess an in-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including web applications, service applications, and database design
• Demonstrate strong understanding of SharePoint development methodologies, including client-side and server-side development
• Display familiarity with SharePoint design principles and best practices

And have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as advanced degrees
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in SharePoint architecture, design, and implementation
• Proven experience in architecting and deploying large-scale SharePoint environments, as well as experience in integrating SharePoint with other systems and platforms
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as MS SQL Server, Active Directory, and Azure
