About the Role

The Senior Manager of Technology Training and Consulting Services (Senior Global Manager) is an integral part of Latham’s Technology team. This role will be responsible for managing the creation and delivery of consultative training services to support the adoption and productive use of technology for the firm, while developing, maintaining, and owning the training consulting strategy for the Technology department, ensuring that training and consulting offerings meet strategic business needs and gaps. This role will be located in either our New York or Global Services Office, situated in downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Developing and adapting a global partnering and consulting framework to improve business-focused training services to attorneys and business services teams
• Developing and executing training and consulting plans for key initiatives across Technology projects and operational activities, including, when required, developing project and change management plans to ensure efficient execution and high quality of work
• Understanding the various methodologies and high-level concepts for delivering trainings and consulting services, selecting the best execution plan per initiative
• Fostering a culture of innovative training service developments to keep pace with changes in business demographics, consulting, and operations
• Overseeing the management of all training teams, initiatives, schedules, courseware, learning management systems, and vendor relationships

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Display the ability to strategically consult with global business partners, translating business requirements into measurable global results. i.e., demonstrating strong business acumen and customer focus
• Possess the ability to manage the planning, design, and delivery of training and consulting deliverables that addresses customer business priorities
• Demonstrate an understanding of and the ability to apply "big picture" thinking to create strategic roadmaps and objectives

And have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, law, consulting, learning & development, or a related field
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Technology consulting or change management
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in training management practices, stakeholder analysis, needs assessment, and impact analysis
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working within corporate legal services or other professional/financial services
• A proven track record in the management and delivery of training and consulting services in a large organization
