About the Role

The Endpoint Platform Operations Engineer is an integral part of Latham’s Technology team. This role will be responsible for being the technical lead for the delivery of the Endpoint Platform Operations Team’s key projects and maintaining its infrastructure, while acting as a Subject Matter Expert (“SME”) for deployment systems, including Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, as well as monitoring and supporting the health, maintenance, and support of these platforms. This role will be located in our Global Services Office, situated in downtown LA. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Devising upgrade strategies and migration planning to contribute to Windows 10/11 Image management across physical and virtual environments
• Configuring M365 applications for deployments and updates throughout their lifecycle using both Intune / Azure and MECM
• Monitoring CVE vulnerabilities to prioritize patching within the assigned SLAs based on severity
• Authoring automation scripts, including but not limited to PowerShell and Batch, for software installation and configurations
• Creating and maintaining all technical documentation related to processes and procedures

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Possess knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manger, Microsoft InTune, and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (“SCCM”)
• Exhibit knowledge and proficiency of various remote communication methodologies, including VMWare Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (“VDI”), Windows 365, Azure Remote Desktop, Remote Desktop Services (“RDS”), Multi-Factor Authentication (“MFA”) technology and VPN
• Demonstrate proficiency in automation scripting, including but not limited to PowerShell and Batch

And have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in centralized management of workstations in an Enterprise environment using Microsoft SCCM and Intune
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing upper-level support for client network and remote access services including consumer grade wireless networks, firewalls, gateways, routers required
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing upper-level support, training, or mentoring for other technology department personnel required
• Experience using network performance monitoring tools similar to ThousandEyes or SolarWinds
• Experience working with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 Remote Desktop Services (“RDS”)
• Experience with installations and upgrades, training, and technical documentation
