Freight Terms & Methods:
• Comprehensive understanding of different Domestic & International freight terms and ship methods available
Truckloads:
• Calculate truckload cube requirements
• Communicate with applicable Customer Service team to see if additions/deletions are needed
• Verify stock availability communicating with planning and scheduling for over allocated items to determine timeframe availability
• Advise applicable Customer Service team of out-of-stock items
• Create and print wave pick lists for Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse personnel
• Create load sheet at completion of loading
• Create bill of lading and packing slip
• Complete/Invoice shipment once shipment has left the facility
• Document Bill of Lading in the log
• Correlate shipment packet for filing 

LTL:
• Verify stock availability 
• Communicate with Planning/Scheduling for over-allocated items to determine availability timeframe.
• Advise customer or applicable Customer Service team of out-of-stock items
• Create and print wave picks for Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse personnel
• Input shipment details on applicable TMS system for carrier selection
• Prepare packing slip envelopes and print shipping labels
• Create Bill of Lading and Packing slips for shipment
• Schedule carrier pick ups
• Complete/Invoice shipments
• Document Bill of Lading in the log 

Small Parcel Backup:
• Provide backup for Small Parcel Receiving & Shipments 

Call Tags:
• Prepare, create and schedule call tags for all Packaged Pools facilities.
Inventory Control:
• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects concerning Inventory Control
• Maintain and assist with product location and controls 

Freight Claims:
• Comprehensive understanding of carrier freight claims
• Obtain required documents and photos
• Create, submit and track all claims until they are closed. 

Receiving:
• Receive all incoming goods into system 21
• Print GRNs, and match them with delivery paperwork and file 

Cycle Count:
• Prepare weekly cycle count sheets 

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Work effectively and independently in a fast paced and changing environment with multiple priorities.
• Ability to read, write and interpret all associated paperwork without direction or assistance
• Ability to multi-task while displaying a calm, professional demeanor
• Solid Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Zoom, Internet Based Platforms, AS400 and System 21
• Detailed oriented and maintenance of a clean and organized work space
• Proficient, professional and skillful interpersonal and communication skills 
• Minimum one-year shipping/receiving experience, to include administration of LTL, Small Parcel, Air Freight and Full truck load shipments domestically and internationally.

The salary range for this position is $24-$27 per hour.
