Job Summary:

LAT Apparel, a growing company in Ball Ground, GA is seeking a high-speed, goal-oriented, inventory and procurement associate. This is an excellent intermediate level opportunity for a career-minded individual that is looking to grow into greater roles and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all reporting for a group of overseas suppliers.
• Monitors product work in process (WIP) to ensure workflow is moving and balanced as well as on-time delivery of product.
• Oversees WIP and inventory for a group of SKU’s to accommodate changing customer demands and ensuring minimal inventory holes with balanced inventory in stock and in production.
• Provides assistance and backup for other Production team members, as needed.
• Assists with warehouse-to-warehouse transfers.
• Assists in special projects relating to production and inventory control as necessary and other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Should possess good interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and comfortable working cooperatively with others on a team.
• Must have good time management skills, be organized and systematic with an analytical and logical approach to assigned tasks with a demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving skills.
• The ability to engage in English language verbal and written electronic communications that are direct, concise, clear, and relevant. Spanish, Hindi or Urdu language skills are a plus, but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Diligent and punctual
• Strong/advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Teams is a plus.
• Confident working in a fast-paced environment where you must quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze and interpret data.
• Preferred candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, apparel, manufacturing, and/or multi-location national procurement.

Physical Job Requirements

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles. The responsibilities associated with this job will change from time to time in accordance with the Company’s business needs. More specifically, the incumbent may be required to perform additional and/or different responsibilities from those set forth above.

Compensation and Hours

• This position starts at between $16 and $20 depending on experience.
• This is an in-office position with a schedule of 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
