PC Technician

Essential Functions:

· Install, maintain, and service PCs, servers, network equipment and other peripheral devices

· Provide end user support covering a wide variety of question on systems, software, hardware and peripherals onsite in Rhinelander location

· Contact vendors for assistance when necessary

· Conduct troubleshooting for networking and connectivity issues for onsite and remote end-users

· Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software problems

Additional Responsibilities:

· Maintain appropriate logs of necessary maintenance and repairs

· Maintain Information Technology systems inventory

· Provide quality customer service to end-users

· Other projects and/or tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

· Associates or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology

· Knowledge of PC troubleshooting

· Knowledge of PC operating systems

· Knowledge and ability to work with Microsoft applications

· Basic knowledge of networking infrastructure and protocols

· Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievements

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

· Must possess a high level of integrity, energy and honesty with a professional attitude

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· Self-disciplined with a positive attitude

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work in a team or individually

· Ability to prioritize tasks

· Must maintain confidentiality at all times
