The role:

The Group Package Specialist is responsible for booking the Group Packages that require reserved areas. They will manage inquiries and lead conversions of group packages, and build and maintain client relationships. In addition to booking Group Packages, they will act as the secondary support contact for customer service inquiries and generally support the Sales Team by maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Our perfect candidate has:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a comparable Event Sales or Group Sales role within hospitality
• Outstanding communication and organization skills
• Ability to manage sales in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on outstanding customer service
• A personal commitment to organizational excellence; displays honesty, integrity, and a strong ethical approach in all decisions and actions.
• Ability to apply a high level of commercial acumen to all aspects of strategic planning and execution of sales strategy including in the face of market shifts and evolving competition
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Excellent awareness of hospitality market trends and competitive landscape
• Enthusiastic outlook and capable of effectively transferring and encouraging enthusiasm throughout the wider team
• A fearless attitude towards hitting sales targets and a determination for helping the team to succeed

*The base pay range for this position is $70,000-75,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills, etc.
