Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure that projects are completed within budget and meet quality standards. Duties: - Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required - Conduct quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services - Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost proposals - Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to streamline the estimating process - Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide cost control recommendations - Participate in pre-construction meetings and site visits to gather information for accurate estimations - Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the best value for the project - Assist in developing project budgets and schedules - Stay updated on industry trends, construction methods, and material costs Requirements: - Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, practices, and techniques - Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam - Familiarity with project management principles - Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
