Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Access Control Specialist to join our team. As an Access Control Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of our premises by monitoring access points and ensuring compliance with established protocols. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, ensuring their safety and providing assistance when needed. Locksmith experience a plus.

Duties:
- Monitor access points and enforce security protocols to prevent unauthorized entry
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, incidents, and irregularities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security issues
- Conduct regular inspections of access control systems to ensure proper functioning
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuation drills
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in access control or a related field is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and loss prevention techniques
- CPR certification and first aid training is a plus
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and strong observation skills

Pay: $17.73 - $21.35 per hour
