The developer is able to navigate through operational, risk and market monitoring alerts with savvy communication skills to interact with external entities and internal counterparts. The preference is for an individual that has worked in a operations developer environment, is fluent in scripting languages, and is able to build technical solutions.Job DescriptionRequired on-call responsibility (12-8pm CDT) for hybrid. Day shift are regular working hours.Monitor Production systems and triage issues that arise to resolve immediate issuePerform root-cause analysis to develop sustainable automated solutionsTechnically able to support and troubleshoot alerts and errors - Alerts from proprietary risk engines (stuck and rejected orders, etc).Keep up communication with new and existing external business interfaces --- day-to-day operation, planning connectivity, exchange upgradesOverseeing communication with others internally - project managing across different functions to plan exchange upgrades, hardware refreshes, and other improvements/rollouts.QualificationsCompetence in Python, able to edit and create scripts, with 3 years of experience.Linux systems administration experience, with relevant, current knowledgeProficiency in SQL and Linux systems, with 3 years of working experienceApplicable network knowledge, good working knowledge of TCP/IPExperience developing solutions for execution systems --- sustainable, long-term solutions.Experience delivering or deploying large-scale software in productionenvironmentsSystems Architecture - knowledge and experience with distributed systemsSoftware Architecture - knowledge and understanding of large code maintenance and enhancementFlexible to design technology solutions most suitable to each individual situationHighly analytical mindsetExcellent communication skills, both written and oralResults oriented, highly flexible, team playerAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
