• Primary location is Deaconess Midtown Hospital Evansville, IN
• Shift Requirement: 12 HR Nights
• Float Requirement: float pool first to float between Deaconess Midtown/Gateway (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY 11 miles). Potential to float mid-shift, 2 HR notice given currently waived, subject to change.
• On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: every other weekend/every other holiday rotation
• Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current IN license or active compact (preferred) license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.
• Minimum Experience: Must have 2 years of ICU. 1 travel assignment required.
• Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
• Skillset REQUIRED: Cardiovascular ICU, stepdown is preferred
Will also float to these areas:
• Midtown: Cardiovascular ICU, Neuro/Med/Surg ICU, Surgical/Trauma/Cardio ICU, stepdown
• Gateway: Heart Hospital, Med/Surg ICU, Neuro ICU, stepdown
• Henderson: General ICU, stepdown
Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Level II Trauma Facility, Teaching Facility, Acute Care, Ratios 1: 2 (3 max - usually with lower acuity/transfer pt if necessary)
• Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
• COVID Vaccine NOT required at this time - subject to change. Flu required unless a medical or religious declination is applicable.
• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
