We are looking for an experienced automotive service writer in Naperville, Il.

Typical duties may include:

• Scheduling service appointments for customers
• Greeting customers in the service center
• Listening to customer's car issues and asking questions before repair
• Creating a repair order detailing the customer's information and service needs
• Discussing the customer's needs with the service department or technicians
• Ordering car parts and preparing service documents
• Reading complex technical reports and discussing the content with customers
• Inputting and updating customer information in a computer database system
• Monitoring service and keeping customers informed about the car's progress
• Communicating with customers to let them know when the car is ready and how much the service costs
