Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess a passion for creating delicious pizzas.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook pizzas following standard recipes and special customer requests
- Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, dough rollers, and mixers
- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish ingredients as needed
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Uphold high standards of food quality and consistency
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a pizzeria or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Understanding of retail math for portioning ingredients and upselling items
- Ability to sanitate work areas according to health codes
- Culinary training or certification is advantageous
