As a Full-time Busser/Runner and Recreation Attendant this position supports the Tiki Bar service team by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables in the assigned dining room areas with the standard of excellence guests come to expect from Laplaya Beach and Golf and Resort. In addition, as the Recreation Attendant, you will support the pool and beach activities for guests at the resort.

• Clear tables of dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, napkins, and reset tables, ensuring they are clean and sanitized.
• Maintain clean work areas, including server stations.
• Restock server stations prior to start of shift.
• Ensure proper lsupplies are on for the shift.
• Provide an excellent experience for guests.
• Comply with established service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Complete all duties, side work, and other assigned duties with quality and efficiency.
• Assist guests and fellow team members as needed.
• Work activities and events, such as pool games, beach games, arts and crafts, etc.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of all recreation offerings and be able to clearly articulate to guests.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods of time.

• Ability to squat and bend as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to follow directives of leadership and work independently.
• Previous experience working with kids in a professional and elevated setting.
• Prior exeperience working in recreation.
• Retail experience is not required but a plus.
