A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A 3RD-YEAR PLUMBER APPRENTICE

As a 3rd-year Plumber Apprentice, you are eager to continue on your plumbing apprenticeship journey! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Lanz Heating & Cooling, Inc. You go out in the field with experienced plumbers and help install, maintain, diagnose, and repair heating, plumbing, and drainage systems for both commercial and residential customers.

As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly install and service plumbing systems. A hard worker, you are serious about your career path and pay close. You enjoy interacting with customers and fellow employees. Determined to reach the journeyman level, you also keep up on your studies. You are excited to be part of our team and reach the next level in this stable and well-paid career!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A 3RD-YEAR PLUMBER APPRENTICE

• 3rd-year apprenticeship
• Tech school certificate
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Ability and willingness to work from 28' extension ladder, from 12' step ladder, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to lift or move objects up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to invest in tools used in the service and maintenance of plumbing equipment
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Desire to exceed customer expectations
