Software Product Manager

THE POSITION

The Product Manager is responsible for working with stakeholders across the organization to develop the product roadmap and lead the overall design of the product. The Product Manager will be responsible for communicating product vision and strategy, setting clear direction, and creating common understanding across the solution delivery team comprised of Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, UX Designers, QA Analysts and Developers. The Product Manager will support the EPMO in tracking and managing projects from inception to delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-department stakeholders to develop a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers
• Build and maintain a product roadmap, owning processes for intake, prioritization, update, and reporting
• Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that aligns with overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
• Lead, collaborate, and motivate cross-functional teams of user experience designers, business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop, execute, and release products in alignment with product roadmaps
• Lead requirements and design activities, manage key deliverables during design phases of product development
• Develop and measure product metrics establishing actual outcomes versus expected outcomes. Leverage this analysis to make directional decisions regarding product features and enhancements.
• Coordinate with other Product Managers to ensure a consistent customer experience across all Lanvera products
• Help build product documentation and communications related to product offerings and development efforts
• Clearly communicate status and open issues to senior leadership, the team, manager, and other stakeholders
• Work effectively within a team environment to implement projects in a timely manner
• Coordinate with client facing support teams to understand product performance, incorporating needed changes into the product roadmap

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
• Five years or more of proven experience working in a Product Management position
• Experience defining, owning and managing a product roadmap and processes
• Experience in soliciting and drafting product requirements
• Proficiency in requirements definition, solution design, and user experience disciplines
• Experience with the SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
• Excellent analytical, decision making, problem solving, team and time management skills
• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take

• Experience with scalable, internet-facing, multi-tenant applications
• Experience with workflow based and/or event-driven platforms
• Previous experience with design and delivery of omni channel communications
• Experience with print production, operations and direct mail
