Summary of Role

This role partners with business leaders and human resources business partners to create results-driven talent management outcomes to meet current and future business needs while driving innovation in talent solutions. They will be instrumental in driving outcomes in talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, development planning, executive coaching and assessments, mobility and mentoring. The individual in this role will be the first in this function and will report to the Sr Director of Leadership Development as a true partner in the design and implementation of talent and development philosophies, strategies, solutions, processes, and supporting technology/systems, utilizing what is in place with a vision and a plan to building what can be.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Manage the end-to-end cycle and execution of onboarding, performance management, succession planning, talent review and mobility, with a keen eye on the big picture ecosystem of talent and business
  • Provide expert level strategic consulting capability across initiative life cycle (e.g., assessing business strategy/challenge, scoping and aligning solutions, solution build out, and delivery), while taking into consideration organizational goals
  • Support strategy and deployment of employee learning development & training programs,
  • Manage the gathering of data and reporting out of talent related board deliverables and KPIs
  • Create foundational dashboards and partner with HR Ops to analyze metrics and qualitative data to provide insights to short and long-term talent needs and to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives.
  • Collaborate with recruitment to utilize talent management insights and data to support talent searches
  • Develop success measures and provide expertise in evaluating, refining, and evolving solutions to deliver maximum effectiveness and ROI.
  • Assess the success of our development solutions through a comprehensive evaluation strategy
  • Oversee our Co-Op Development Program
  • Responsible for our Orientation experience and process
  • Act as Program Manager on strategic initiatives such as Competency Integration, Cross Functional New Hire Experience Improvement and LMS roll out (2025)
  • Manage vendor relationships and small cadre of external partners
  • Manage training calendar, scheduling and enrollments of our programs
  • Develop a core set of metrics, KPIs and a dashboard for measuring ROI and success
  • Develop content and communications such as intranet pages, townhall presentations and marketing emails to ensure employees have awareness of development events and resources

Basic Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen who can understand the "big picture", operationalize concepts/ideas, anticipate risks and issues, and prioritize and manage action plans to deliver successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Business acumen, data/analytics and critical thinking skills
  • Deep functional expertise in at least two disciplines of HR (e.g., Talent Management, Learning and Development, Organizational Design/Development, HR business partner, Change Management, etc.)
  • Strong political awareness and organizational agility; able to adjust communication style to any audience
  • Strong project management and organization skills with an ability to prioritize in an ever-changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to deliver recommendations persuasively and efficiently to a variety of HR and business stakeholders
  • Highly proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Other Requirements

  • 10 years of experience leading L&D initiatives and programs
  • BA or advanced degree in MA in Education, HR or other related field a plus
  • Able to work in the Bedford, MA office 3-5 days per week
