Summary of Role:
The Director, Market Access Oncology & Urology will be responsible for providing US coverage, coding, and payment expertise to customers in support of the Lantheus product portfolio. The individual in this role will have responsibility for the implementation of brand reimbursement strategies, educating referring physicians and key support staff on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies, and maintaining positive prior authorization pull-through for key products. The primary customer segments for this position include large urology group practices (LUGPAs), large community-based oncology practices, referring physicians, stand-alone imaging centers, and regionally assigned payers. The Director, Market Access Oncology & Urology will also be an integral part of the site setup process for office-based customers adopting radioligand therapy. This position will serve as the face of Market Access and Patient Services for office-based providers and staff and will be proactive in customer approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of educating and pulling through prior authorizations in large accounts, advocating for medical policy, developing customer relationships, and working cross-functionally to facilitate appropriate patient access.
