Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in art education or related field
- Alignment with Lansing School District's mission and values
- Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate with specialty endorsement (will be required to enroll in program if don't currently possess)
- Previous successful teaching experience in urban setting
- Demonstrate passion for and expertise of drama and theater
- Provide world-class instruction in drama and theater
- Use data to guide and effectively differentiate instruction
- Learn and grow by incorporating feedback from school leaders, colleagues, students, and professional development sessions
- Build relationships with students and parents to ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment
