Lansing Building Products is Hiring an IT Business Partner: eCommerce Near Richmond, VA

The IT Business Partner: E-commerce will work day-to-day with the Marketing and E-commerce department to better understand and help shape the overall E-commerce strategy. They will seek to understand and document business requirements and facilitate opportunities to streamline communication, lead project management and evaluate business process improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The IT Business Partner will identify and analyze business process issues and opportunities and evaluate the potential application of new or modified technology solutions.
  • Function as a business partner to help develop ecommerce strategy and development roadmap.
  • Partner with the Marketing Department to provide input into prioritization and execution of ecommerce projects.
  • Provide project management capabilities to manage IT projects related to Ecommerce initiatives including, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the integration of E-commerce platforms with various IT systems, ensuring data consistency, security, and optimal performance.
  • Manages issue resolution between Operations, Digital Marketing team, ERP team, and system integrator.
  • Research, review, and analyze existing requirements gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  • Provide on-going technical support for business applications including troubleshooting of reported problems.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions concerning software and business process modifications to ensure effective communication across departments.
  • Comprehend and comply with IT policies and processes in the areas of software development and implementation; ensure segregation of duties compliance with requirements, in working with marketing and ecommerce teams to define applications security and workflow roles/responsibilities.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in technology and e-commerce.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience with eBusiness and ERP systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and IT systems.
  • Project Management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.
  • Experience working with business owners to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for change in a distribution environment.
  • Capability to work and interact with non-technical stakeholders (Marketing, Digital eCommerce, Operations)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

This position has no supervisor responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional, office environment.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
